NEWS: Scientist to oppose Donald Trump in huge 'March for Science' in Washington

The United States government, under the leadership of Donald Trump, has looked to shut down and silence the national organizations that track the effects of climate change and global warming. The scientific community is reacting to the Trump administration by organizing a protest currently being called a "March for Science."

Various groups across the country are mobilizing thousands and thousands of people to make clear to Mr. Trump that the scientific community will not back down. According to many scientists Mr. Trump is trying to push his agenda by disregarding the effects of global warming at the expense of future generations. Tens of thousands of people have indicated they will attend the protest at Washington DC and across the United States.

The "March for Science" is not exclusively for scientists but anyone can join to support a just and fair cause. According to the groups launching and promoting this protest, the United States is leading an energy policy detrimental to our environment and world, which is focused primarily on the burning of fossil fuels. The Scientific community is reacting and will continue to react to false claims by Mr. Trump and his advisors.

Scientists believe that an American government should not ignore scientific evidence in order to pursue agendas that harm our planet. The problems is growing as many scientists within the government are creating rogue accounts on Twitter and other social media making fun and criticizing Mr. Trump's blatant disregard for the environment.
